[singlepic id=56 w=200 h=200 float=left]Finance ministry of India has started Rupee branding excercise, while the identifiable symbol will be helpful in giving a character to the Indian economic might, it is important if Indian government take care that it selects a symbol that has a character of Indian ethos, cultural values and economic prowess.

As per Indian Express reports the Jury has given verdict and design submitted by IIT Student Udaya Kumar has been selected. However, there is no mention of this in Finance ministry website.
