Nothing else is necessary but Love, Sincerity and Patience-
TO me the very essence of education is concentration of mind not collecting facts
– Swami Vivekanand
To express the difficult notions of the real life problem into simple words is no mean task. It comes only after the refinement of thoughts when one ask difficult questions and seek answers. A similar kind of question took Narendra (Swami Vivekanand’s pre-monastic name) took him to his would be guru Ramkrishana Pramhansa. Though Ramkrishna Paramhansa had several disciples, but I guess only Narendra had a vision and strength to execute at a large scale.
Later called as Swami Vivekanand, his vision of empowerment to masses to eradicate poverty and bring social up-liftment is something which is truly inspirational. His thoughts can be applied at any level, be it on individual, corporate level or at the mass scale.
He built Ramakrishna Mission almost from scratch to a worldwide present organisation. An organisation that touches lives of billions and billions is not a mean task. Even bigger feat is to build
such a strong foundation of principles that organisation lasts over a century, grows, prospers and keep delivering
A preacher and practioneer of Karma Yoga, his emphasised that success was an outcome of focused thought and action; same is very relevant today or at any period of time.
He not only defined success but also gave ways and means to achieve it
” Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life – think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, that is way great spiritual giants are produced “
One can learn from many people, objects and stories around him or her. But I found story and thoughts of Swami Vivekanand truly inspirational in terms of organisation building, power of concentration and focus and dedication of the actions.
